Ok…so it is Monday…I’m dying of anticipation…Cheer leading cuts will be sometime this week for the race over at The Digi Shoppe!!!  I love to talk…and of course I love to scrap…but to be honest I have truly enjoyed getting to know everyone..makes me want to be a cheerleader all the more…WANT to promote the designers…and I’m gaining one heck of an internet family over there!!!

So scrapping is wonderful but i’m gonna have to put it on hold today :(  I have a ton of homework I have to do!! :(  Got behind, good one huh…So now I’m paying for it!

Ohhh..random but I’m sooo excited..I stayed up last night and saved all my layouts I’d done to a CD…My mother is taking them today to Costco to get them printed!!  I can’t wait to see them!!  There are several that I’m dying to see how the textures and such turn out!!  Just a few short hours for that lovely surprise…

I have a favor to ask…keep our baby boy Foxy (the oldest Sheltie we have) in your thoughts…he is having surgery today :(  Poor thing…he got a lump on him next to his privates a few month ago and the vet said to watch it…well..it got a LOT bigger and they are going to remove it today…And if needed have it checked…It doesn’t hurt him so at least he wasn’t in discomfort at least not until today…bless his heart he gets to wear a girdle after this…how humiliating for the boy! :)  So keep your fingers crossed it isn’t anything but fatty tissue and this will be the last of it!

Ok…on to happier news…the house is going great!  We had the inspection done and nothing major was wrong so now we are waiting for the few repairs and the results from the appraisal should be in wendseday or thursday..Speaking of house…ok…so I’m back on the decorating kick…reading that magazine the other day at lunch did the trick.  My mother and I went shopping to get Savannah some much needed clothes (more about those darlin things in a min. )and while there  we went through the bedding stuff…yep you guessed it…we need a new bed spread and what better timing than the move!! :):)  So…here is the bedding…We are gonna get the whole set so we can have the light blue shams..that and we have $80 off :)  so that buys the dark brown coverlet and some of the set…so we can do out own version of the room below..

we are gonna find a deep blue that is complimentary to the lighter one for the paint..and go for this room :)  It is from an old Divine Design episode.

And yes…My hubby actually likes it..

Now for the other fun stuff..Savannah’s clothes!  I swear I could go broke buying clothes for her! There are just soooo many adorable things!!!  And everything below is from Kohl’s!!

Shirts…These are a few of the shirts we got..and we did get shorts or pants to match..so we got complete outfits

Dresses…yep…my little girl loves her dresses…again these are just a few…we really really splurged and got like 20 all new outfits and to boot they all could be mixed and matched!!  Ok..sorry I digress…Dresses..yep that is where I was..

And if you know me at all then you know she got shoes!! :):)  And since it is summer…flip flops here we come!  They were soooo darling on her!!

ok…sooo..my Friday is mixed emotions!!! I’m soooooo glad it is Friday!! but then again..that means Cheer leading cuts are coming up, CT calls are ending, and to boot only one more week of being on Agnes’s Team as a guest!!!!! Then throw in I have homework I have to do over the weekend..and darn it I don’t know if I’m supposed to be excited or dreadfully woooo…I think I’m gonna go for Excited!!!! Hey I might get lucky and join someone’s CT or heck get another guest spot somewhere…ya never know…and if I make Cheer leading then I have another week of wonderful joyous chatting to do…then again..even if I get cut you guys over at TDS aren’t getting rid of me…so I’ll still be there to chat!!

And I will be double happy for being as lucky as I am…I have some friends going through rough times…you know who you are…And being there as a shoulder to cry on or just being that someone that will listen has made me think a bit…So..yep…i’m gonna get mushy…

I’m thankful for the smile I see in the mornings as my hubby tries to get in the bathroom to get ready (yes I’m in the way), I’m thankful for the grumpy bear, that just like mommy is not a morning person, but non the less I still get hugs and kisses bye bye…albeit they may be tearful ones some mornings but they are there…I’m thankful for having family that loves me enough to want to help decorate a home they haven’t even seen (talk about brave!!)…I’m thankful for having friends that are as giving and wonderful as they could be…yes Tia that includes you :) See told you, you were loved…I’m thankful for the opportunites we have living in Raleigh..wonderful things like camping at jordan lake, the museum and it’s events, my new awesome hair stylist (you are the best Chris!!), and even the daily traffic that makes my 15 min drive a half hour or 45 min…because that is precious time I get to talk to my family in WV!!! (miss you all)…I’m thankful for all the support and love I’ve received and are still receiving from my family (Yes this is a thank you for all the “Mom…come see this…what do you think”(drag her away from knitting just to see yet another scrapbook layout that I have to zoom in on for her to read..I SWEAR I’ll get them printed)….listening to me b**** about any sundry things that at the time I think are tough (note* there is nothing i deal with presently nor likely to deal with in the future that I could claim is the worst) and after knowing that little fact you still give me a hug at the end of a hard day…For all the times you tell me I’m doing great when I really already know but sometimes it is just nice to hear…And thankful for love that is there but not nearly as obvious to see…yep…he knows who he is too

It is easy in this world to get caught up in your life, and I am guilty of it…But today was my time to stop and think about those less fortunate…and be thankful for what I have! Do it every once in a while you might be surprise what you are ungrateful for on an everyday basis..(and yes you have to be honest!!)

Ok…enough rambling for now…it is a happy happy FRIDAY!!!!!!! Everyone enjoy your weekend and who knows maybe I’ll have awesome news sometime next week

Ok..so I think I have a life It has been (not breaking tradition here) a hectic one…The house purchase is going great… We are slated to close on May 18th!!! We will be home owners…and talk about to funny…Robbie is soooo excited…he was asking last night what I wanted to do with decorations and such…and I had to laugh…like I’ve had a chance to breathe enough to think about decorating!! HAHAHA…NOT…so my feeble attempt at fixing that situation I actually brought the newest Country Home magazine with me to read at work!!! (Yep..I’m a country girl at heart, not that I would have admitted that several years back but I am and proud of it!!!!!)

Much to my grandmother’s delight I turned a leaf and actually got into the whole home decorating and caring mode on the last house we had bought…so maybe it will hit me again! The only thing in the house I’m not thrilled with would be mirrors…yep…and lots of them…in the entry…in the dining room…in the bathroom…and no not just over the sink in the bathroom…in the SHOWER TOO!!! Although…thought coming through…the one in the shower might be nice for Robbie and shaving…he could see and not cut himself nearly as often! Any way…the paint isn’t by any means unbearable so money will be tight so no painting…just cleaning it good before we move in…not that it is gonna be that bad either, the last owner took good care of it. Lucky us…Just for the record there is a freaking freight train worth of crap to do when buying a house!! Like I really needed to add that to my plate!! But I did, we did, and so far…lovin it! Crazey I know..

Other news…Classes are going great…well close…I busted my butt to do the last drawing that was due and heck if it isn’t wrong!! Well kinda…I did two objects and the teacher wants 4…so add that to my list of things to do tonight! Other than that…doing great…4.0!!!

Ohhh…that brings me to something else on my plate tonight! I get my hair cut…AGAIN!! Yes…pitiful..I just got it cut literally two days ago..and back to short I went..yes Holly…another hairstyle!! Well I didn’t goo way back to short and I’m just not liking it…I do believe it was you holly that said no to bangs and I should have listened…so I have another appointment to go back to spikes…yep…spikes.. just in the back .. Here are pics from our engagement with the haircut I want again…see…isn’t it cute!!

AND EASY!! That is the biggie…like I really wanna spend TIME…precious much needed TIME trying to make myself look cute…NOT!!! So…well see if this guy can pull it off…I sure hope! Pics soon of the new me if that is I like it!
