Ok…so I can’t REALLY tell you where it goes…but I have a plan…well…kinda…let me back up a bit…All this blogging business started because I am crafty! I was (and still am) making miniature Polymer clay sculptures for personal use, namely the doll houses and room boxes we create (we being my mother and I) So I start out with plates, veggies, and bread…I’ll show you pictures but you have to be nice!!! All these are my beginnings…and keep in mind TINY, Every thing in in 1 inch doll house scale so take for instance the bread the longest one was only like 3/4″ long!

it then progresses to flowers and little dogs (sorry don’t have a picture on me of the doggies) The Flowers were about 1/4″ wide…so again tiny!

then on to people…and well you know me…I’m quirky so it then went to dragons, fairies and such!

Well…I put my stuff out there for opinions, remember at that point I was new to the Polymer clay sculpting thing…and people wanted to BUY them!!! WOW! Really…sooo…I sold my first little girl…entitled Abigail’s Antics And my little dragon, Cordial Colian (not 100% sure on the little dragon’s name..it is written down at home..) Well I figure it might be cool to actually make some stuff and sell it heck if nothing else I can fund my new hobby this way So I keep creating…have another dragon at home in the works…He is ALOT more detailed and bigger…picture to come later if you really wanna see it…My poor little “grandpa” replica is still not done but here the beginning pictures of him…( His head is only 1 inch tall…tiny again :)) The first picture is the real him in a photograph that I was using as reference as he has passed away… then my little creation…

As you can tell I’ve gotten more into the realistic side of sculpting the more I do…well…Selling all that stuff was what made me start this darn blog…Since then…I’ve slacked off and haven’t done much on the sculpting side (life hit and it just wasn’t getting done!)….Then of course most of you reading this can guess what hit next…yep…I’ve become a DSA, better known as a digi scrap addict!! So the blog morphed into my scrap world…And my plans…It will continue to be a scrap world with a bit of my hectic life thrown in…and you never know…every once in a while you might catch a glimpse of a FINISH new sculpture!

Now…for a sneek peak at what I have in store for you all TOMORROW!!! The Backstage Pass Challenge WILL BEGIN!!! Ok…so what on earth am I talking about…here is the little tag line for it!

Give ya hint…yep….more photography!! Each month I will post a technique or camera function that we will play with…you know…things like those manual setting (the ones I know I tend to avoid) on your camera…or a technique to use to create (yes I said CREATE, these will become more than just your everyday snapshots!) cool scrappable pictures!! And by the end of the month you will have learned something new, or for some of you brushed up on something, to do with your camera and photography and yep you guessed it…created a layout using your newest most awesomest (yes that is my creative use of the English language once again) picture. Soooo…if you are interested…and you know you are!!! Just head over here (the first one will be up sometime late tonight) and play with us!!!

So we moved into the new house and I (much to my hubby’s disdain) got my sweet little kitty cat back…ok…so she isn’t little..she is huge…but she is Sweet! She is an indoor cat so I’m sure she wouldn’t see the need for a collar but darn it these are just tooooooo cute..Bling bling baby!!

Ohhhh…better yet…Talk about stunning!!! LOL…she would die!! Of course with all her fur I’m not sure you’d notice this cutie Or not…Of Course you would…Can’t you just see her prancing around…ok…or laying around with this on! Mom you know it would be a trip!! It’s all about Me-Ow!!!! That name is just tooo purrrfect!

Ok…so I won’t do the color for Daph Cat…but what about Snicky…He wears a collar and The Gilded Paw has several distinctive dog collars!!! Here ya go…maybe if he wore this everyone would stop thinking the poor dog is a girl

Ok…so maybe not…the bling doesn’t help his case a whole lot…how about one of these…Any thoughts snicky…ok…actually any thoughts Robbie or Hals, or mom!! :) I’m partial to the Orange one but you know me…I would be!!!

A dog should be stylish tooo don’t ya think!! I swear the more I see it…the more Daph needs that boa!!!

I know you’ve done it..Been walking down the street and seen a person walking their dog and think…wow they just look like they fit..or…couples that just “match” Well…ok…so maybe you haven’t, but I have. As a matter of fact I actually took it a bit farther…we have tagged our pets with the cars they are like…yes, I know I’m nuts! For example..my cat…Daphney..we think she is the a Hummer in disguise…

Well…ok…so I knew it was going to be hectic as usual, but there were a few curve balls thrown in there we just weren’t’ expecting! Now mind you brilliant one here had homework to do one the trip there…YES in the car! I’m not even there yet and the mishaps begin! And yes this should have been the peek into what was going to become the weekend of the unexpected, I had printed out my assignment that I had to work on before leaving so I’d have the questions with me…well..ok that was the plan…but idget here printed out the LAST weeks questions not this weeks, so I call up my buddy Cynthia and beg her to sign in for me and read me this weeks questions, she did..the angel she is and even through the crazy drive (I think my parents were on crack) I managed to get the reading all done and the questions answered. see…the trip there bumpy..and not just because of the turnpike (talk about some hard answers to read )

So we finially get to WV ready to pack, and squeeze in homework in the wee hours of the night (even if my brain is dead by then or not)…yep we pull into my grandmothers at only 12:30 am…I hop to it and type up my answers since oh yeah…the laptop had been dead or I would have typed them as I answered them..see…unexpected curve ball number 2! Get them all typed up then head over to the phone to use the dial up that Robbie had set up for me to actually turn in my work…and oh yeah…it isn’t working…so after about two hours of trying and talking to tech for road runner…yes…this is 2:30 am..I find out the lines are down in the whole valley…nobody has internet! JUST Perfect…curve ball #3 means my assignment is going to be late…the horrible wife I am, I call Robbie and beg him to sign on and e-mail my teacher to let her know I’ll get it there as soon as I can…soo…off to bed I go…thank goodness that day is done…

I get up the next morning to try to no avail to send the papers once again and start packing…Thankfully the packing went off without any hitches..that is if you can ignore the fact that I was clutz 101 the whole day and kept hurting myself…so after several bruises, cuts, and shear exhaustion the day ends…to you guessed it…me trying to connect to the internet again…because of course not one but two more assignments were due over the course of the rest of the weekend and I needed to know what they were so I could work on them…well…nope…not gonna happen…begging of the hubby commenced again…and the teacher was informed yet again of my so horrible luck. Well by now I’m stressed…way way stressed so when all else fails I scrap! of course…there is even a glitch there…NO pictures…ok…no worries…I have a camera…take some..but dork here forgot the cord to connect the camera to the computer to transfer them! Oh yeah…told you I had curve balls galore! So I scrap with no pictures in hopes that when I get home I’ll have something suitable! Of course if not I do have the cord for the camera at home…but yep..another one…I can’t find the charger…so not sure how much longer the poor camera is gonna last!!! Another day thankfully over!

So Sunday…that was pretty nice…we went to Green Creek for a family pick neck get together, since we are moving grandma to NC soon…That is the family cemetery in the middle of nowhere on top of a mountain. And I do mean ON TOP! You can’t get to it without 4 wheel drive and there are times that doesn’t even help. But it was a gorgeous day..ohh…almost forgot…yep..even had a hitch here…get there with no cups or silverware ok…so small hitch but it is one none the less! ohhh…and toooo funny…you can imagine on top of the mountain in backwoods WV means not potty Just the woods…oh yeah…for the bug fearing, dirt detested child Savannah this was one major calamity! But a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do right…LOL…she did…of course being her first attempt at pottying NOT on a toilet but winging it…yeah…she peed on her poor flip flops! And boy was she disgusted!!! The good news…the camera lasted at least through that day got a ton of pictures of Savannah of course…and some of my grandfather and uncle’s graves…and back down the mountain we go…I’ll get those pics up as soon as I find the time to get them off the camera Next day down

That brings us to Monday…Memorial day…Holiday..remember all that…so we are packed and ready to hit the road…we are just bee bopping down the road when thump…yep…blew a tire on the trailer…not good! No spare…lug nuts that are rusted to the darn thing that don’t want to budge! Darn it…we managed to get through about 4 hours of the morning with nothing going haywire! So an hour or two later and a 100 bucks blown and the tire is fixed, and we are off like a herd of turtles…peachy start, crummy middle, but good ending…we had a safe trip other than the tire of course, long but safe…and we are back…

Home sweet home..my pillows, my bed…internet…my computer…and a teacher that loves me..(yep she is letting me make up the assignments :)) means it has to be a better week…of course it is gonna be crammed crazy busy with me catching up homework as well as trying to get ahead for the weekend…yep I learned my lesson…we are going to Bush Garden’s this weekend, and yes the laptop will go but I’m soooo not chancing the connection problems again! So it may kill me but all those assignments WILL be done BEFORE I leave!!! And if I have to I’ll buy another charger for the camera because I’m GETTING pictures this coming weekend So all that being said…hope you enjoyed my book And I do hope your holiday weekend was great! I know I just b@!!$@! about mine but it was nice…I did get to see my grandmother and aunt!! So there is my vacation that was more than meets the eye!
