5 Insanely Creative Digi Masters (gonna become a habit!)

May 7, 2007 at 12:59 pm (!! Scrapbook, Top 5)

To those of you in the digi scrapping world this post’s title may be obvious but for those of you that have no idea what I’m talking about here is the low down! For the past year I’ve jumped head first into the world of Scrapbooking, digital that is. Crafty has been my middle name for most of my life and I’m just dumbfounded that it took me 26 years before I found this mind boggling side of digital masterminds! You know, those talented and very creative people that bring their imaginations to life in our very high tech digital savvy society! Those very designers and scrappers can create a world away from our everyday or preserve that very day for eternity. Fantasy, what better way to create fantasy than to create your own minds eye. And dreams, memories and surroundings are what fuel the digi scrap world (at least that is what fuels me!). Not only is this a medium that is a monstrous outlet for creativity, but I have found to be one of the most forgiving for beginners! The undo button is a Life saver! As with any craft there are levels of ability and with that comes a monumental list of tools, software, kits, elements, tutorials, etc. ready for any eager participant! Well, a year ago I definitely rated as eager! One, yes only one year later I can be regularly be found buried under 45 gig of digital scrapbooking supplies and my dream manipulative software Photoshop, creating away! And would you believe with 45 gig worth of supplies I still look for more! Talk about an addict! I haven’t even begun to create layouts with all the supplies I already have! And I can’t stop myself from splurging on that drop dead gorgeous “gotta have it” kit, or how do you pass up a 50% sale, and wow! another new digital design store with all new designers! How on earth does one every stop! That being said (and no I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon) I’m going to help enable those other fellow addicts and start a top 5 (thanks problogger for the idea!!) Once a week (yes only once a week, we all have budgets so I won’t totally strain them!) I will post my top five wowser kits or elements, and if you are lucky, ok…or if I’m lucky enough to get one done!, I’ll post a layout I’ve done with one of those picks!!! Gotta have more inspiration right! sooo on to that Fantabulous list! Ohhh and for your shopping convenience the previews will be links to their super spot in the shops! And the Author’s name will send you to their blog if they have one!

Drum roll please……

(and these aren’t in any order! Love them all!!!)

Those are a nice set of digi scraps. I am not into digital scrapbooking, but I do know how to appreciate works of art.

My aunt once engaged in the world of digital scrapbooking. I never thought that there were a lot of people who are into this thing.

    Nice post! ^_^

If you have time, why don’t you drop by my post:

I know nothing about digital scrapbooking but as a designer I can appreciate the work that goes into this. I found you through pro-blogger. Nice post. I like that you put the images all on your post so we can see them all together. Also, I think the weekly top 5 idea is a good one. Good luck to you.
